I had redecorated the house and it was looking good but they were able to offer some suggestions to ensure that the Home report was as good as it could be.

After a bit of work over the weekend we were ready for the surveyor. I was out at work but David was on hand to supervise the surveyor for me; this was a very useful extra touch they provided.

I really liked the photos and schedule they produced and I felt they showed my house off to the max. The video is a great little extra as well and many of my friends have commented on how good they thought it was.

Three weeks later when it came to the sale itself David phoned me at worked and said he wanted to do a viewing that afternoon (but only if that was ok with me).

He promised to tidy the few bits of normal debris that gets left lying around. He was so keen because he knew from speaking to the buyer they were about to make a purchasing decision.

He said he would phone me sometime after the viewing which had been set for three o'clock; four minutes past he called with an offer (they had come a bit early but he was already there and the house was ready). The offer was a good one, he had talked them up to 5% above the asking price, got the entry date that suited me and I am now off to Canada to join my husband.
